This case study really illustrates the benefits of utilizing DermaPure. The results tell the story......a positive clinical and economic outcome. As is typical, this patient's wound only received one application of DermaPure.

Orthopedic rehabilitation is a therapeutic approach to recovery, the purpose of which is to correct musculoskeletal limitations and alleviate pain from trauma, illness, or surgery. The musculoskeletal system consists of muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, cartilage so that orthopedic rehab can address any of those structures. From Idaho to NJ Peter B. Derman, MD, MBA recently put up a post that raises some interesting questions. Morgan recently came to us from Idaho to undergo #spinesurgery using our #opioid sparing #rapidrecovery protocol. Five days after surgery she flew back. In our practice we are seeing an increasing number of patients who are traveling from out-of-state for #awakespinesurgery. The question is: 1) how long should we wait to allow patients to travel on a plane? 2) what is the risk of developing a DVT if they travel too soon? 3) we arrange for a local orthopedic/spine surgeon to assist us if there any issues.
