Level—Beginner 🎾🎾✨ Focus ➡️ Basic fundamentals on the forehand and the difference between the Continental grip and Semi western grip (forehand) ▪️Advantages and Disadvantages of the continental and semi western grip forehand. ▪️Semi western advantage— it's excellent for generating topspin, allowing the player to hit with power while keeping the ball in play. This grip is common on the modern professional tour for baseline rallies. ▪️Disadvantage — it's difficult to make defensive shot and is not ideal for volleys and serves. ▪️Continental grip (AKA Hammer grip ) ▪️Advantage- it offers versatility for various strokes like the server, volley and overhead. ▪️Disadvantages- it's not ideal for heavy topspin on ground stokes . #tennis #tennistips #tennisworld #tennisforall #tennisreels

If you’re teaching or training freestyle, single-arm freestyle is the best drill. Frankly, it’s the only drill you need for freestyle. Try these variants of the drill: 1. “As-is” per the video 2. Tethered to a power tower (I recommend adding a paddle on the arm you’re using). The resistance from the tower should be to slow the swimmer down to feel the water, not to fatigue them. 3. Tethered to a stretch cord (paddle + fins). What do you think?
🤫 Psst! Can you keep a secret? 🤫 Want to take your Freestyle stroke to the next level? According to Charlie Houchin, the single most effective drill for Freestyle is any variant of single-arm. Do you agree or disagree? Share your thoughts in the comments below! Let's keep this secret between us 😉🏊♂️ #SwimSecrets #FreestyleDrills #SwimminglyDrills 📽️Charlie Houchin, 2012 US Olympic gold medalist

🎾 Tennis Court Surfaces: The Science and Impact on Players👟 Grass Courts: These lush green surfaces are lightning-fast due to their low friction. The ball skids, making it challenging to react quickly. Players need precise footwork to avoid slips and strains. Clay Courts: The iconic red clay provides high friction, allowing players to slide into shots. Longer rallies are common, but the sliding technique can stress joints. It’s a surface that demands endurance and adaptability. Hard Courts: The most common type, hard courts offer versatility. They’re made of painted concrete, providing consistent bounce. However, the hardness can take a toll on players’ joints over time. Remember to adapt your game and stay injury-free! 🩹🌱🏥 Feel free to share this with your network! 😊📈 #TennisTips #grandslam #courtsurface #ATP #Tennis #AOOpen #Wimbledon #RolandGarros #USOpen #injuryfree Fun Fact: Did you know that the longest tennis match in history lasted 11 hours and 5 minutes?
