Today, Lifecare’s Extraordinary General Meeting decided to authorize the Board of Directors to execute a reverse split of the company’s shares at the ratio 13:1 and to acquire treasury shares. The reverse split is a measure to ensure that Lifecare fulfill the precondition for listing at Oslo Stock Exchange that each company share has a market value of minimum NOK 10. The authorization to acquire treasury shares is a measure to ensure that the company can deliver shares (free of charge) to shareholders holding a number of shares that don’t compute with the revers split ratio.
