Does your law firm operate a range of fixed or recurring arrangements? We recently introduced a new feature designed to help law firms who operate on a retainer basis called ‘Mininum fee - recurring’ A minumum fee - recurring arrangement will charge a set amount where the amount of time is below a minimum threshold. For example if a firm has unbilled fees of 400, with the minimum value set at 1,000, the 1,000 will be charged. Alternatively, if the firm has unbilled fees of 1,400, with the billing value set at 1,000, the 1,400 will be charged. This can then be combined with specific incentivised matter level rates for when work goes over the minimum threshold.
