'function: the reserved word "function" is used to define a function or method. 2. 'let' : used to declare a block-scoped variables in javascript 3. 'return' : used to exit the current function & specify the value to be returned. When we try to use a reserved word as a variable name in TypeScript, it results in a syntax error. Reserved words are predefined keywords that have specific meanings and functionalities. ****significance of the await reserved word in asynchronous JavaScript. The `await` reserved word in asynchronous JavaScript is significant as it plays a crucial role in dealing with promises and async operations. It is used only within async functions and allows for more readable and concise code when working with promises. ****The Promise.all() method: It is used to handle multiple promises at once and wait for all of them to resolve. ****how asynchronous callbacks differ from synchronous code execution; Asynchronous code allows the program to be executed immediately whereas the synchronous code will block further execution of the remaining code until it finishes the current one. //It takes an array of promise objects as input and returns a single promise . In this project, I built a Tic Tac Toe game with a unique twist: promoting healthy gaming habits by prompting breaks to reduce addiction potential. This solo endeavor solidified my grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on core game logic and user interface design. Players can challenge an AI with adjustable difficulty, ensuring a fun and strategic experience for all. The project wasn't without its hurdles. Implementing an AI with variable difficulty proved challenging, but ultimately rewarding. I also unearthed valuable technical gems, like the Minimax Algorithm and the power of media queries for responsive design. While the project was a success, there's always room to grow. Future iterations will prioritize comprehensive documentation and earlier debugging practices. The experience also highlighted my strengths in adaptability, attention to detail, and testing. This project ignited a passion for exploring AI further and solidified my project-driven problem-solving approach. It also challenged my preference for Replit, showcasing the debugging advantages of VS Code. Building this Tic Tac Toe game was a springboard for growth, equipping me with valuable insights to become a more capable engineer. AGL: A Dynamic Language Processing Library In the realm of parsing technology, dealing with complex grammars can often be a challenging task. AGL is a language processing library designed to provide a robust and efficient solution for parsing grammars. Initially crafted as an answer to situations where regular expressions were inadequate, AGL has grown to become a comprehensive language processing tool. One of its core features is the capability to parse grammars that are readable by both humans and machines. Moreover, all operations are executed at runtime, thus eliminating the need for code generation. What sets AGL apart is its versatile platform compatibility. It can function on diverse platforms such as JVM, JavaScript browser, Node.js, and theoretically even native and WebAssembly platforms. AGL integrates smoothly with browser editors like Ace, providing features like syntax coloring, basic code completion, error and warning feedback, and custom formatting. AGL employs a 'scan on demand' approach and a Generalised Left Corner parsing algorithm. This allows it to handle both left and right recursive rules efficiently. Additionally, it facilitates grammar composition by enabling other grammars to be extended or embedded. AGL has already been put to the test in practical applications. For example, it has been used for parsing Matlab statements and in creating query languages for traceability graphs. While AGL continues to mature and evolve, it stands as a testament to the potential of parsing technology when it comes to handling complex grammars.
