Over here in our camp where we like to exist, this sandbox that we play in, we like to have our dogs have an understanding of a complete picture or the full picture of life. So what I mean by that is if we teach a dog how to do things properly and they learn all the obedience and all the commands, that's great. We may have, we may have a dog that can perform and do those things, what's typically referred to as obedience, right? But it would be unfair for me to turn around and say, ohh, why are you jumping on that person? We've already trained you, right? But we taught the dog what is allowed and what we do. Want, but maybe we haven't taught the dog the other half of the picture and that is what we don't want. And so there there is an incongruency right there as if we have an expectation out of our dog that we never communicated to the dog. That's not fair, right? So we want to be able to teach our dogs what we do want and then we also want to teach our dogs what we don't.
