Great first boardroom at MES. My favorite part about #saleslife is doing these types of presentations. The nice thing about this one is that I get feedback pretty quickly so I can try to adjust for future boardrooms. Question- When the feedback from one attendee contradicts the feedback from another... DO I clone myself to do it both ways? ;)

🎯 VP Product at Cognyte | Product Executive | $1.5B+ Revenue Impact | Thought Leader in Product Organizations & Leadership
🎉 Celebrating a Decade of SKO Presentations 🌟 As I look back on the recently concluded SKO season, it's hard to believe it marks my 10th SKO presentation. What a journey it's been! From stepping up as a Product Manager in my first SKO at NICE to presenting as a VP Product in the last few years. 🤝 A Quarter of Teamwork and Preparation The seeds of this year's SKO were sown at the end of Q3. It was a collaborative effort, with my Directors, PMMs and PMs playing pivotal roles. That initial period was crucial for crystallizing the main messages and direction we wanted to take. 📈 Aligning Vision with Execution About a month before the SKO, our initial presentation was ready. But that was just the beginning. The subsequent weeks were about fine-tuning and aligning our messages with executive management and key stakeholders. This alignment process was critical to ensure our message resonated at every level of the organization. 🎯 A Year of Surpassing Targets Crafting our content and messages was smoother after a stellar year where we surpassed our targets. This success laid the groundwork for a clear articulation of our past achievements and our vision for the future. 🚀 Innovating and Surprising One of the highlights this season was unveiling major innovations and offerings to our sales team. The feedback was positive and constructive, highlighting the importance of technology and business innovation in driving us forward. 🔀 A Strategic Shift in Product Strategy A pivotal moment this SKO was communicating a significant change in our product strategy—a change spearheaded by the product group and greenlit by executive management just before the SKO. It was a bold move, reflecting our adaptability and forward-thinking approach. I felt compelled to share some highlights of the PRODUCTIZED conference. Frustrated with grandiose but hollow mission statements? And success metrics with arbitrary goals? Radhika Dutt showed how narratives can connect the dots and encourage true learning. Markiyan Matsekh🇺🇦 talked about his success in formally correlating feature usage with customer retention and using those learnings to shape successful customer success programs. Asya Kuznetsova explained in simple terms how to insert growth hacks into your product and backed them with impressive success stories Fabrice des Mazery demonstrated the merits of considering product development as financial investments to improve prioritization and stakeholder management. Francesca Cortesi talked about our principles and values. Each one of us has strong beliefs such as "the interests of the group always come first" or "you should always strive for maximum productivity," and we will always find someone who doesn't share them. How can we deal with the energy drain and emotional overload caused by that clash? Other attendees took different things, but everybody took away something to think about and grow as a professional. It was a conference worth attending! 🙂
