We are accelerating activities for the planned expansion of our Butcherbird Manganese Project in Western Australia, following the promising outcomes of our Feasibility Study conducted in January 2024. The FS highlighted the opportunity to increase manganese concentrate production to 1.1 million tonnes per year, lowering unit costs and estimating a capital expenditure of $49.8 million. Key areas of focus include process optimisation, Front-End Engineering and Design activities, project finance and permitting. Managing Director Justin Brown said: “The Butcherbird Project hosts a world-class manganese deposit with more than 260Mt in resources, which will underpin the mine as a long-life producing asset. The decision to progress with the Stage 2 expansion project comes at a time when manganese ore prices are showing strong gains after a period of depressed pricing during 2023. The decline in prices came to a halt when the extent of the damage at South 32 Limited (S32) Groote Eylandt Manganese Mine became clear with S32 recently forecasting a disruption in production until 2025. Prices in recent weeks have rebounded strongly with current pricing for 44% high-grade material quoted at U$6.93/dmtu cif Tianjin, approximately 60% higher than the quoted pricing in early April.” Read the full ASX Announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gZvNitQu #ASX #ASXNews #manganese #miningnews #resources #smallcaps #resources

Industrial Pumps, Slurry Pumps, Submersible Pumps, Chemical Pumps, Sewage Pumps, Pump Parts for mineral process plants, power plants, coal preparation, steel mills, etc.
I'd love to share this concept, which I happened to browse today. For industrial products, price is definitely not the only factor that affects the transaction. Quality, service and after-sales maintenance will directly affect the production process and overall costs. The same is true for slurry pumps used in mineral processing. #Minerals #MineralProcessing #SlurryPumps

This announcement is a vindication of the Taiton Resources Limited exploration efforts. The company's view has always been about the prospectivity of the #Highway project. Highway is a greenfield project which was a conceptual project at the IPO. The work the exploration team has done to date now brings to light two aspect that supports our initial message. The first proof of concept came from the first drilling phase. This first drilling campaign showed that there is indeed a #molybdenum #mineralisingsystem. This second phase of drilling now show that there is indeed scale to the system. The results released today, showed that there is over 1000m of mineralisation. This means that Highway does indeed have the potential to host a large scale #Molybdenumdeposit. The next step is now to look for higher calibre of mineralisation. We also now have a better understanding of where we are at in the mineral system at play. The Merino prospect is too low in the system and therefore suffers from a preservation of a mineralising form. The positive is the exploration team now have a clear view of the potential mineralising environment for the next drilling phase. #ASX #EV #criticalmetals #Decarbonisation #RenewableEnergy #GreenEnergy #SustainableMining #Investors #ASXInvestors #Shareholders

Strong improvements to both the pit shell design and strip ratios for Cyprium Metals Limited (ASX: CYM)'s Nifty #Copper Mine have materially improved the project’s economics, while also reducing the mine’s footprint and shortening the time to first ore mined. Proactive’s Tylah Tully has #JustTheFacts on the company’s optimisation work, which achieved a 25% reduction in ‘concentrator-only’ strip ratios, improving them from 9.7:1 to 7.3:1. “Nifty’s sulphide resource remains Cyprium’s largest value driver,” said CYM executive chair Matt Fifield, “and the more we work on it, the better it gets. “With a lower strip ratio and full utilisation of the cathode plant, we expect that the previously announced positive economics of the May 2024 Scoping Study will become even more attractive.” Read more about the company’s mine optimisations on our website. https://ow.ly/ebN550TixBa #ASX #CYM #CopperMining #CopperExtraction #BatteryMetals

In minerals processing, profit requires throughput. Grinding low-grade ores calls for high volume mills and round-the-clock reliability. High power, huge capacity, and brute strength are balanced against critical bottom-line issues like efficiency, control and availability. Today, there is only one motor type capable of meeting the demands of high-throughput minerals processing. Studying and improving one's technical knowledge and skills is the basis of any specialist's work. It is always a pleasure to work with highly qualified employees and get a great experience for yourself.
