The 1st time I seen drones in space was in Star Trek Discovery, 4yy ago. It's mezmerizing to see how much the time period between sci-fi and reality has shortened. Especially if you realize that almost 30 years passed between Kirk's communicator and the Motorola Startac #innovation #engineering #Technology #futurism #drones #spacerace #spacetech #geek #startrek #scifi #motorola #startac

*Cue the Interstellar theme.* Every time I see a robot auto-dock, it reminds me of that iconic scene where they attempt to dock the space station while it's spinning in orbit. The precision, timing, and tech is always awesome to see. RobotLAB Inc. Strong early-stage space teams know how hard it is for spacecraft exploring planetary bodies to not crash into obstacles or objects while exploring terrain. Steep, slippery slopes can cause rovers to slip and lose traction. Rugged terrain with many rocks, holes and traps can damage wheels and chassis. Limited visibility from orbital images don't show all the hazards at ground level. Autonomous navigation systems can be tricky when faced with unexpected obstacles. #space #newspace #deepspace #aerospace #everythingspace 📸: NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration

Ever wondered what it would be like to fly faster than the speed of sound without that ear-splitting sonic boom? 🌟 That's exactly what NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's X-59 is working toward, and it gets me thinking about just how amazing it would be to see a rebirth of supersonic travel in private aviation. 🚀 To me, it feels almost like science fiction: crossing the country in record time, with barely a sound. ✈️ As the X-59 gets closer to its first flight, undergoing all these rigorous tests, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this could transform the future of travel. 🌍 To consider quiet supersonic flights a possibility is a thought beyond understanding. Such a reality can't help but conjure up thoughts of what this could do to how we travel worldwide. 🌐 #NASA #X59 #SupersonicTravel #Aviation #FutureOfFlight #TechInnovation #Aerospace
