Over the past few weeks, our hotels have been rewarding Housekeeping Teams across the portfolio for all of their hard work to celebrate Housekeeping Appreciation Week! These very special people got to get lunch, play games, and received some fun gifts! We would love to thank all of our Housekeeping Teams for everything that they do each and every day!

RDO Tim Douglas recently visited Courtyard San Antonio for a site visit, and while in town, he enjoyed lunch with the Courtyard and Hyatt Place San Antonio teams. After 17 years with InterMountain, John Birr has officially retired! John joined InterMountain as a General Manager for us in Ruston, LA. After a number of years, John moved to Fort Walton Beach, FL to be closer to family and to open the TownePlace Suites in 2014. After much success and several awards, John was promoted to Regional Director of Operations. He had much success in that role as well, and all of his properties loved his leadership qualities and will miss him greatly as we will too. We will miss John greatly at InterMountain, and thank him for the dedicated and loyal service he’s given to InterMountain for the past 17 years. We wish you the best on this next chapter of your life! Thank you, John!

Corporate Sales Trainer and Bench Stephanie Warren spent a week in the Reno/Carson City, NV area working with the sales teams there. They held their first Market Meeting for the sales teams for our InterMountain hotels at the beautiful Courtyard Carson City. With this group's different backgrounds and experiences, collaboration is going to be beneficial to all. We are excited to see how these four hotels will join forces to establish a stronger InterMountain footprint across the Reno/Carson City area! It was one of our favorite times of year in Lawton, OK – Rodeo time! MySuites Lawton and Fairfield Inn & Suites Lawton are title sponsors of the Lawton Rangers Rodeo. It is one of the largest rodeos in the entire state of Oklahoma. Our management team attended the rodeo and sat in the VIP stand to mingle with other sponsors and officials. As you can tell, it was a beautiful night to kick off the rodeo!
