🏛️ Thursday Tips with Tamron Image Master, David Akoubian. Reflection Photography Tip #1: Use a reflection as a compositional aid. When photographing a landscape, a good clean reflection can help to create symmetry in an image and help to anchor the viewer as they study the frame. In this example, I am photographing at the reflecting pool at Berry College in Georgia. Doing my best to be perpendicular to the buildings, as well as composing the image to evenly split the building with the reflection achieves the desired symmetry.

Another interesting thing that I learned in my creative strategies class is the concept of 'The Rule of Thirds' in photography. The rule of thirds is basically a guideline in photography and art that suggests dividing an image into nine equal parts using two horizontal and two vertical lines. Important elements in the composition are then placed along these lines or at their intersections, making the overall image more balanced and visually appealing. One good example of it is the poster of the film 'La La Land.'
