Recent ICP grad Apanuch Yoodee explores how glitches in digital communication mediate the emotional space of physical distance. These stills from her video collages, Daydream (ฝันกลางวัน), are on view now in Shared Spaces: 2024 ICP Recent Graduates Exhibition.
Yoodee says, "These digital video collages represent my nostalgic daydreams, which combine images from my life in both New York and Bangkok."

I am currently giving the course "Artificial Intelligence for Your Life" 💡. Additionally, I will be conducting a series of 3 in-person sessions at the CESM Encounters in Barcelos (Module 4) on May 15, 29, and June 5, 2024. These encounters are an initiative of the Missionaries of the Spirit of Portugal that seek to offer ongoing education open to a broad audience. The theme of this year's encounters is framed within the horizon of the Jubilee of 2025. Specifically, in module 4, I will address the topic of Artificial Intelligence 🧠: its myths and misconceptions; the current state of Artificial Intelligence and its impact and future horizons 🔮. This development is related to the document of the Constitution Gaudium et Spes, which invites us to share the Joys and Hopes of all Humanity. Indeed, Artificial Intelligence can awaken great hopes, while also generating anxieties... It inspires and connects with the technology of the future, today. Without a doubt, it's a magnificent opportunity to unite human progress and spirituality! Be sure to visit: #Easytechwomen.com. So, I'll be there. Check out this published information. #Easytechwomen#ArtificialIntelligence#FutureTechnology#Conferences"
"Light beyond the Horizon" is not only a forward-looking outlook and expectation for the future, but also the orientation and guidance for the overall tone of the exhibition. With "symbiosis" as the theme and "light" as the core medium, the work follows the logic of life science, focusing on life science, supplemented by information science and material science, and explores the link between science and art through three major disciplines. Taking Hongqiao as a vein, the five works of light art exhibited in series are respectively "Entropy of Life", "Evolution I", "Evening Dew", "Evolution II" and "Interstellar Sandman", interpreting the "symbiosis" imagination of vitality in the ground. #lightingdesign#lightingprojects#lightingexhibition#2023ShenzhenLightandShadowArtSeason
Attention all history enthusiasts and curious minds! Did you know there's a hidden treasure nestled in the heart of Mayfair that's simply brimming with stories and scientific wonders? It's the Royal Institution, and it's a place that's sure to ignite your imagination!
This institution isn't just a building; it's a hive of history and discovery that goes back centuries. The Royal Institution is famous for its Christmas lectures, but it's much more than that. When you step through the doors, you're walking in the same halls where groundbreaking scientists like Humphry Davy and Michael Faraday made discoveries that changed the world!
Imagine being in the very room where they experimented with chemicals and created the first electric generators. It's like taking a step back in time and watching the birth of modern science. And the best part? The Royal Institution is still a buzzing center for scientific education and research. They work hard to make science exciting and accessible to everyone, whether you're young or just young at heart.
Now, why haven't more people heard about this amazing place? It's a bit of a mystery! Many of us might have seen the exciting Christmas lectures on TV, but not realized where they were being broadcast from. It's like having a superstar in your neighborhood and not knowing they live right next door.
So next time you're wandering through Mayfair, keep an eye out for the Royal Institution. Whether you love the thrill of a science experiment or just want to soak up some history where great minds once stood, this is a spot you can't miss. Get ready to be wowed by the wonders of science and the stories of the past, all under one roof! Now isn't that something to chat about with your friends?
It will be a great pleasure to present #YoungCare in Brussels during the EU Week for Sustainable and Inclusive Communities: the future is SHAFE. This prestigious international event, expecting over 200 participants on-site, will feature a series of sessions across various locations, targeting policymakers, members of the European Parliament, and other key decision-makers.
In #YoungCare, we are co-creating an educational online platform primarily dedicated to informal caregivers, offering crucial support to navigate the often bureaucratic and challenging systems they face. As I prepare for this presentation, several questions about creating a more inclusive world come to mind:
🌍 What if we viewed disability as another aspect of human diversity, where the interaction with the environment turns this diversity into a handicap due to a lack of inclusiveness?
💰 What if informal caregivers could receive a pension if they worked in this role throughout their lives?
🎓 What if student informal caregivers could access the same benefits as athletes at universities?
💶 What if a full-time informal caregiver could earn at least the minimum wage? In Portugal, they currently receive only €509.26.
🏅 What if informal caregiving was formally recognized as valuable, essential work deserving of proper acknowledgment and support?

Still one day left to register, do so now!
I will be pleased to chair the session on “Power, (im)mobility and accessibility: politicizing transport”.
We will focus on three topics:
- What are the main challenges of accessibility?
- How do questions of scale (national, regional, local) affect the interactions between accessibility, mobility, and regional/urban planning?
- In what ways do current planning and policy-making processes include the needs voiced by citizens?
Keen to be part of TOD-IS-RUR Network!
