📣 I Shout about my: 😃 Retail Leadership Marathon. 💪 Mental Health Journey. 🤓 Not in that particular order.
🤓 Did you know? Recognition in Retail is free 💵. Recognition goes a long way. It can be as simple as: 👍 Liking someones shoes. 👍🏻 Asking how they are feeling. 👍🏼 Acknowledging their work ethic. 👍🏾 Asking how their family is by name. ... and most importantly saying Thank-You. But... Please don't forget to celebrate. 🎉 The wins. 🎉 The effort. 🎉 And even the losses. Trying is half the battle 🤗. Remember that, 🎯 Recognition for everyone is different. Please make sure that you are recognizing them the way they would like to be recognized. For me, I like to be recognized with a simple high five and a thank you. Nothing else and nothing more. 😃 And finally, please document this fantastic event in their file so you can re-celebrate it during their reviews. Question. 👉 How do you like to be recognized? And as always and most importantly, Have a PHENOMENAL 🤩 Day. ============================== 📢 Do you want to know more about what I do? 🌟 "Never Give Up: Remember, Coca-Cola Sold Only 25 Bottles in Its First Year! 🚀🥤" Every success story starts with humble beginnings and frequently encounters tremendous hurdles. Take Coca-Cola, for example—one of the world's most recognizable brands. In its first year, it sold only 25 bottles. Imagine if they had given up then! The path to success is rarely straightforward. It's full of setbacks, challenges, and times of uncertainty. However, tenacity and trust in your goal are essential. Coca-Cola's tale demonstrates the power of tenacity and resilience. When faced with hurdles, remember that even the most successful companies started small and encountered hardships. Continue to press forward, learning from your mistakes and improving your strategy. Success is determined by how you adapt and endure, not how you started. Believe in your journey, stay committed, and never give up. Your persistence today will pave the way for your triumphs tomorrow. 💪🏽✨ Tags :#NeverGiveUp #Persistence #SuccessJourney #Inspiration

What another fantastic session with the team at Portwest in Killarney this week. I worked with the team on: 💰 Selling styles on the Shopfloor and how to connect, engage and build brand loyalty with shoppers. 🧍♀️🧍🧍♂️Identifing customer profiles on the Shopfloor and having a selling preference for that customer persona. 🛍️🛒 Lots of role plays on how to upsell and link sell with shoppers through meaningful conversations that engage and connect with customers. The heart ❤️ of Retail is felt by shoppers from NOT the products BUT each team members personality on the shopfloor. How you show up is how you lead yourself and your team👨💼🧑💼👩💼 As a Leader in your Business how much of your personality your team’s personality and your companies personality impacts your bottom line??? For many they are all interlinked so if your business is currently not performing as you want it to look 👀 at 👇 🫵 How you are showing up for yourself and your team. ☝️How your team are showing up for one another. 👉 How is your business is showing up for your customers 👈 Owen Clifford ISME Ireland Uniphar Supply Chain & Retail Life Pharmacy Ireland Eurospar Musgrave

Looking for a success story to inspire you? Look no further than Coca-Cola! Did you know that this iconic brand started as a small pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia? Since then, it has grown into a global brand recognized in every corner of the world. But it hasn't always been smooth sailing. The company faced its fair share of challenges, from changes in leadership to adapting to new technologies. However, they stayed true to their values and continued to innovate, eventually becoming the beverage giant we know today. So the next time you feel like giving up on your dreams, remember that even the biggest successes had to start somewhere. Keep pushing forward and stay true to your vision. Who knows, you could be the next Coca-Cola in the making! #Motivateyourself #SuccessMindset #AchieveGreatness #InspirationDaily #GoalDigger #DreamBig #PositivityMatters #HustleHard #BelieveInYourself #PostoftheDay #DanDoyle #NeverGiveUp #MotivatedByPassion #MindsetMatters #RoadtoSucceee #Keepgoing #EmpowerYourself #StayDriven #Resilienc #TriumphOverChallenges

Collaborations is such a Great word which has a the ability to bring together the giants to fight against BIGGER ISSUES. Let’s suppose PEPSI & COCOCOLA collaborates to fights against Pet Bottle Issues. If HUL and P&G comes with COLLABORATION to stop Plastic Packaging. If ARVIND & Aditya Birla Fashions COLLABORATES to reduce the usage of Plastic fibres which leads to TEXTILE WASTES. How Shortly the Bigger Issues of Plastics Pollution can be shorted ???? Collaboration can be treated as the most powerful and impactful weapon in coming days to save the nature and Mother Earth for our benefits. 🎬 𝑩𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆! 👋 This week, I had the pleasure of meeting my colleagues from CORA Romania —a gathering I eagerly anticipated. I must admit, I felt a surge of excitement, envisioning an informal setting where we could comfortably share aspects of ourselves, our emotions, and insights into our roles. 🤗 And it unfolded just as I had hoped. The warm welcome and the connection I felt with my colleagues, some seasoned "dinosaurs" in the company and others at the outset of their journey, made for a memorable experience. Notably, disclosing my extensive tenure with Carrefour didn't raise any eyebrows—a delightful surprise!😅 🫶 I discovered that, like me, they approached these meetings with a mix of emotions. Our conversations spanned various topics—from kids, cats, weddings, and travel destinations to the daily commute to Carrefour headquarters. Naturally, we couldn't resist delving into discussions about clients, work systems, processes, shared experiences, NPS, campaigns, and promotions. 😃 Their openness, trust in the future, and eagerness to be discovered, while also seeking to discover us, left a lasting impression. And, here's a little something extra: when these people smile, it radiates genuine warmth and contagious positivity. 🎬 I left with a firm belief that together, we will play our part as "𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞", echoing the message displayed on the Marketing office walls. 🌟 Additionally, a message engraved in my mind from Cora's headquarters —a quote by Winston Churchill: “𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥. 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬." Believe me, this team possesses the courage to move forward, as we've demonstrated time and again in Carrefour România. 🔹️In essence, we share more similarities than we initially imagined. I eagerly look forward to getting to know each other better and collaborating. #CoraCarrefour #PositiveChange #Together Sorana Cojocaru Cristina Maria Radu Adalgiza Ciobanu Ionela Cojocaru

Managing Director Customer Interaction @ALDI SOUTH IT | Growth mindset leader with a passion for retail and agile transformation | Driving a seamless and engaging customer journey
Two women – 50 years of ALDI experience! Some encounters are simply unforgettable. For example, my recent reunion with Christiane Augst, an employee at our ALDI SÜD store in Ratingen Lintorf, who celebrated her 33rd anniversary with the company in April. 🎉 Congratulations on this great achievement, dear Christiane! 👏 When I joined International IT over 17 years ago, it was primarily Christiane who trained me in our #StoreOperations with great patience and kindness. Reuniting after so many years was a real thrill – we laughed a lot, reminisced and shared anecdotes like this one: after I had (finally) gotten used to handling the electric pallet stacker, I was incredibly proud of the mountain of empty pallets I had stacked in the store’s warehouse. When the store manager saw how high I had stacked them, he said with a grin: “Mrs Rückle, what kind of truck do you think this stack will fit on?” Another lesson learned! I always look back on my time at the store with gratitude and humility. I consider myself very fortunate that, despite my lack of experience, Christiane and the other colleagues accepted me as one of their own and let me perform all store operations tasks, including cashiering. My reunion with her reminded me of the following: 💡 For Christiane, it was especially important to not only explain the “what” and the “how” to me, but also the “why”. She intuitively applies what Simon Sinek describes in his book “Start with why”. Not only did this principle make my in-store training so special and memorable, but #PurposefulLeadership is also a key enabler for #selfempowered teams to achieve ambitious goals and remarkable results. 💡 Christine shared some examples of how #IT has changed many processes over time. She reminded me how much responsibility we have when designing IT solutions due to their impact on #CustomerExperience and our employees’ workplace. Actively gathering and evaluating feedback from customers and users should therefore always be an integral part of our work. This goes out to Christiane and all store employees: Thank you! 🙏 I appreciate your commitment and am grateful that you, and many other colleagues, have been serving our customers for so many years. Our roles at ALDI SOUTH are quite different, but we all have one thing in common: we exist for our customers! What are you doing to foster closer ties with the business?

I love the experience of every training course I run, and I'm always on an emotional high in the evening afterwards. Occasionally though, a course is extra special, and that high kicks on well into the next day. That's how I'm feeling today after having run Brainmates Essentials of Product Management course (https://lnkd.in/gRra3Esw) for WooliesX this week. I've been thinking about what made this week's course really special, and whether there is anything in common about all special courses. I think there is. I think it is a combination of: * Strong Learner Need and Motivation: Quite a few of this week's cohort are new Product Managers, or are soon to be Product Managers, or need to work more closely with Product Managers. In all cases they really need and want to understand more about this thing called Product Management. They were super keen and motivated to learn. * Specific Work Context: When we run a private course for just one organisation, we can contextualise the learning to the real world of that organisation. It makes it more real, more relevant, and more fun. This week's course was one of those. * A Variety of Experience: This week's cohort came from different parts of the business, had a range of job roles, and different levels of career experience and experience in Woolworths. This led for interesting conversations, and in particular gave the more experienced attendees the opportunity to enrich a topic by explaining how that thing is done in Woolworths, which led to great conversations and valuable learning. * "Getting the Band (Back) Together": ever since COVID, many of the private courses that Brainmates have run have been opportunities for our client to get their team back together in an actual physical room for the first time in years. Alternatively, like this week, it's a chance to bring a cohort together from across the organisation, giving everyone a chance to connect with colleagues for the first time. This week I really loved eavesdropping on the conversations during the breaks, when two or more colleagues found out they had a shared problem or interest, and planned getting together afterwards to work through it. * Strong Bones in the course material: Brainmates Essentials of Product Management is great material to work with. It bends without breaking. (Thank you my colleagues who made it.) * "Throwing Away the Script" (occasionally): it is great when everyone is flexible and happy to deviate from the planned course materials when something more important comes up in the room. (Like this week.) * Really engaged, curious, thoughtful, challenging (in a good way) attendees: which was everyone this week. Thank you so much! Woot!
Thank you, WooliesX, for investing in your people! 🙏 The last three days spent with Brainmates and Ian Daniel has been immensely enriching. 📚 I've enhanced my product management toolkit 🛠️ and connected with amazing colleagues from across Woolworths Group. 🤝 🚀 Clint Crothers, Kayla Li Hannah Cooke, Jacky (Se Ke) Thai, Jarrad Rodziewicz, Jennifer Gill , Luka Rukavina, Meghan Warda, Nina Faridshaygan, Puneet Singh, Hariharan Suryanarayanan, Sharran Sreekant, Tushar Saini, Victoria Tarasova, Special thanks to Shanika Perera and Petra Gross for organising 💙
