Not quite there yet. The idea of non-invasive smart watches tracking glucose levels would be boon – think of the 400+ million people around the world living with diabetes. However, the FDA has just warned against using these devices to measure blood sugar on their own as they can lead to inaccurate measurements and errors in diabetes management (which can lead to serious consequences). The FDA does approve several other devices such as Blood Glucose Meters & Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems. Of course, measures around exercise and diet are also important.
