Argentine President Javier Milei Calls on Nationalists Worldwide to Unite Against Leftist Forces Argentine President Javier Milei has urged nationalists around the globe to unite in opposing left-wing forces. This aligns closely with Trump’s doctrine, as Milei is known to share a strong connection with Trump, similar to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. According to El País, Milei made this statement at a nationalist festival in Italy, where he was invited by the country’s Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni. During his visit, Milei was granted an honorary passport of the Italian Republic and discussed strengthening the alliance between Buenos Aires and Rome. In her speech, Meloni referred to Milei as “a leader of cultural revolution in a friendly nation,” emphasizing that he understands that “work is the only way to combat poverty.” The Argentine president called for the creation of a global “right-wing and far-right international,” which was met with applause from the audience. Milei stated that Argentina has endured “a century of humiliation” under the influence of liberals and leftists. He added: “Leftists would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven. If they need to turn paradise into hell to achieve this, they will. That’s why we must respond with even greater strength.” Notably, for the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the world is witnessing the emergence of a new political divide. Securing international recognition is Somaliland's longest-running aspiration, and Irro's presidency is expected to double down on this effort. Today we held a poster session in Professor Fabrizio Coticchia's lecture at Università degli Studi di Genova with my colleague Aleyna Mengi. The subject of our poster is “The Impact of Populist Radical Right Parties on Foreign Policy; the Northern League as a junior coalition in the Berlusconi Government.” The Northern League example is important because the Italian party system of the period was bipolar and fragmented. This led to the Northern League being influential. The Northern League has been influential in foreign policy, especially in the fields of European Integration, globalization and military interventions. The main finding is that popular radical right parties significantly influence foreign policy. However, populist radical right parties generally do not have a clear stance. The success of junior coalition parties depends on three basic factors. The first of these is access to decision making, the second is the ability to pose a credible threat and the last one is ability to exploit divisions within coalition partners.
