We're supporting thousands of coffee farmers in Costa Rica through a trade facility with Volcafe: https://lnkd.in/ea-2ZajS Coffee represents 10% of the country's agricultural exports, supporting tens of thousands of Costa Rican families yearly. One of the world's largest coffee merchants, Volcafe specializes in procuring, processing, and distributing green coffee. We'll be providing a USD 23 mln facility to strengthen their operations in #CostaRica, allowing Volcafe to purchase coffee cherries from #smallholderfarmers and local cooperatives, before processing them into export-ready green coffee. Our support will also allow Volcafe to bolster their trainings on sustainable production techniques to improve resilience and profitability through the Volcafe Way farmer support program. The Maze of Food Packaging – Where Does the Current Path Lead 🌱 On November 27, the conference organized by the "Lithuanian Food Industry" association took place, focusing on one of the most pressing issues of today – the challenges of food packaging regulation and future changes. 🎤 Experts from various fields participated in the conference, including our "Nestlé Baltics" representative, Jolanta Kepalaitė (Head of Operations Baltics and Head of DSP CEE), who not only shared insights from our company but also received answers to key questions regarding packaging regulation challenges. 📌 Such events provide a great opportunity for business and policy representatives to come together, share experiences, and seek answers to fundamental questions.
