In this video, during the second scoop (from 44 seconds to 56 seconds) into a hardened RAP pile, you can see the loader bucket shake and shimmy, slicing effortlessly into the compressed pile. And all that dynamic action with absolutely no effort from the operator! 🪓 This RAP pile had been sitting and compressing since last November, yet our serrated edges cut through it like a serrated bread knife. It's no easy feat. Sterling Crane faced a massive challenge: Connecting a dam to the British Columbia Hydro power grid. Lifting enormous 42,000-pound triangular structures (that often behave like giant sails in high winds), they dealt with a congested construction site, and a pressing need for innovative solutions.
