I suspect there will be a lot of questions asked about this. It’s another example of the need to fully assess and mitigate risk in change. A new track, a manhole cover (one of many) where cars drive at speed, and they’re now having to check every one. Surely they should have been up to specification to start with? Surely each one should have been checked before the track was passed as good to race on. It’s lucky this was not more serious. But this will have a huge knock on to broadcasting fees, viewership etc. And poor Ferrari has a car to fix!
