We are #hiring data analysts and data scientists! Below are my own experience, working for the gaming industry. 1. Most people on LI would tell you that the normal distribution only exists in textbooks. But not here. In fact, it is the one of the main reason why the casino is profitable. 2. Most of your executives are data driven. They understand the concept of variability. You could be 100% down vs yesterday (i.e. jackpot was hit) and they will not panic. 3. Fast feedback loop - Among all the other industry I’ve work for, this is the first time i’ve experienced where you can make a recommendation today, and you’ll see it implemented tomorrow. The Philippinos have work Ethics and show commitments and dedication. Something that is not found in most of our graduates and professionals in PNG. Some graduates and professionals in PNG will be very faithful during their probation period and once they become full time employees, you will deal with ineffectiveness, unproductive and punctuality problems. They will show little committment and concern for work. Every weekend they will ask for advance. It will seem like you have employed the entire family and clan. Many will find all kinds of excuse to defend their ineffectiveness and punctuality problems. Hence, I suggest recruitment in PNG must be outsourced to third party so they will find a best candidate for you. Output is more important than providing employment.

Kya Karu Mai Iska 🥸 If you've given your 100% during the test and interview for a job but haven't received an email or call from the HR department, should you email them to inquire about vacancies or ask what you need to improve? In my view, I suggest reaching out to the recruiter once to ask about your mistakes then work on them and strive to secure the job.
