What if we made "un-campuses" the way we make "un-conferences"? In an unconference, all participants collectively decide on what sessions will occur. In an uncampus, all members choose what sessions to host and attend. Instead of a few professors, anyone can offer to host a workshop, class, and activity. I love seeing examples of this like @thesfcommons

We are deeply grateful to the companies that trust us by opening their doors to our 4th-semester students, providing them with a unique opportunity to work on real-life projects as junior project managers. #projectmanagement At our university, "real-world experience" isn’t just a buzzword—it’s an integral part of our business curriculum. By building strong connections with industry, we ensure that learning goes beyond textbooks and into the heart of impactful, hands-on experiences. #reallifeexperience #practiceorientation A special thanks to the diversophy® team for hosting two student groups. Your guidance in the conceptual design and development of intercultural games has been invaluable. This collaboration not only broadened their horizons but also nurtured the skills they need to thrive in the global workplace - virtual collaboration, stakeholder communication, agile PM. 🌍 diversophy® SIETAR Europa Dr. Lidia Wiśniewska (리디아 위스니에프스카)Amna Ben Amara George Simons Janna K. Thanks to our colleagues for this kind recognition of our collaboration. We work with a number of university professors and programs to develop games in our diversophy series focused on their intercultural and international studies programs. If you're interested in creating such a program, we are always eager to support you, coach your students, and develop something that you can be proud of as a result. Last week I visited my daughter at Uni as she was completing & curating her FAHA BA show. Talking to her peers, feverishly meeting exhibition deadlines,(others so laid back they were horizontal) a few apathetically communicated about their time at Uni & their future career hopes, (this is not unique to fine art students). Based on all three of my children’s lived education experiences (lockdown & C19 algorithms) they are all do-ers with a strong work ethic, they make a plan & execute. This reinforces the certainty they require & have mapped out their next yr. My 18yr old has finished a combo of A’s & double Btec’s, (he chose not to put pressure on himself by doing all A levels) with deferred places at Uni, a tour of Australia & elite sports physio work experience lined up as he travels. My middle son has taken a different pathway. He dropped out of L6th, didn’t do A’s or go to Uni & at that stage didn’t know what his future was. He’s had a turbulent education career (dyslexia, absent parent, losing 50% of his vision at 14) he left school with little to no self esteem. He’s just turned 21, saved a sizeable deposit, invests into the S&P, all self taught (no FQ in schools obvs). He has a 5 yr financial plan & career plan. Most of his teachers wrote him off, he was made to feel awful about himself at school. I heard him say recently ‘ I've finally found something I'm good at ‘. His self confidence is through the roof! He’s gone into sales, it’s about people; humanising the conversation, meeting your audience where they’re at & having great rapport building & communication skills (also not taught in school). Some people think ‘ooo sales?’, some people think ‘btecs ?’ & some people think ‘creative arts degree? ‘ If you have such an interesting response it might be one to reflect on, however, what matters to me is this is what success as a parent looks like. My son’s confidence has made him grow taller, he's found his zone of genius & loves it. He's smashing his targets at work over people who have been in the business for yrs & are in their 30’s+ he’s on track for a promotion. I don’t share this insight to brag about my children (although they are all pretty awesome & have a big heart). When children have been taught life skills with the right adult support, & continue to layer up their knowledge, take action & execute, it doesn’t matter how they got there. There’s so much pressure on our children’s shoulders often at the expense of their MH & often it’s a reflection of our failings which we project onto them. It’s important that we allow our children to make decisions about their pathways which sets them on a course to their North Star, our job is to help them adjust their sail. It’s their journey not ours. So when results day comes an ‘oops moment’ can be built upon to layering resiliency, tenacity & upskill their lived experiences. Thank you to my family & friends for always being their for my children #ittakesavillage

Always give it a try! You never know if you will win. November 2023, I got a call from my debating society. "Hello Naimot, we have an InterFaculty debate competition coming up, we need two representatives to represent our faculty and go against 11 Faculties on OAU Campus. Immediately, I said I was not interested. I was afraid of failing, I didn't have enough courage to go against strong faculties. But a friend called me behind and asked me to go for it. I was skeptical at first but I later made up my mind to represent my Faculty with my other debater. We started training day and night, rehearsing and practicing was really stressful and rigorous. It got to a point I wanted to stop, what if we did not win after this training? I know I will be heartbroken. 💔 Guess who emerged in Third Position after three rounds of competitions with other Faculty? My Faculty did! I was not only happy because I won, I was happy because I gave it a try. The experience I gained from the competition can not be compared. I'm now fond of my skills, and I know I can do anything I want to achieve. ✨ This is just to tell you that you can do it only if you give it a try. You never know what will happen if never try it out. How do you give it a try? 💡 Have Confidence in yourself and be sure of the skill you have. 💡 Practice and prepare: I don't think we can achieve anything if we do not prepare or practice towards archiving it. 💡 Be ready to face challenges but never allow them to stop you. 💡 Always give it a try. It's Day 7 of the Consistency Challenge with Our Coach Queensley Ojo. Here is an experience that impacts a big change in my life and Career. P.S: Have you ever stopped doing something because you think you will fail? P S: Tell me an experience that impacts a big change in you. #MotivationalTalks #Goforit #Experiencematters #Debating #PublicSpeaking #PersonalBrandingmasterywithQueensley
