Today is the last day of the TPT's mandate from the UK government - and what an incredible journey it has been. When HMT first asked E3G to co-host the TPT Secretariat with UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment (CGFI) none of us knew what adventures lay ahead, it has truly been a roller coaster ride and I am so proud of all that the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) has achieved. For me personally this has been an extraordinary and rewarding journey. As market and policy momentum grows around planning for transition, the final report provides a mini-stocktake of developments on both fronts and also explains the next steps following the decision of the IFRS Foundation to take responsibility for the TPT's Disclosure Framework and associated guidance documents . As the mandate closes, thanks are due to so many people for the key roles that they have played. Starting with Amanda Blanc and her HMT Co-Chair (now Tulip Siddiq) and all the members of the TPT Steering Group. And also, all those who participated in the TPT's Delivery Group, Workstreams, Working Groups, and Sandbox. TPT became a huge multi-stakeholder community of practice and quite literally hundreds of people contributed so much to this effort. From the perspective of the Secretariat, Ben Caldecott and I maintained a strong partnership throughout this mission, and we built a Secretariat team of the very best, led by Jacques Morris and on an interim basis over the summer by Ira Poensgen who has also been the Technical Lead throughout. The work of Kate Ryan to lead international engagement, and of Nina Pimblett and Ben Gilbey leading sectoral work has also been key. I'm delighted that key Secretariat staff members will remain with E3G and will continue to work on transition plans including in support of the new International Transition Plan Network supported by a team led by Jacques Morris. Numerous former TPT Secretariat members , including the secondees that we are lucky enough to work with in this effort, also played crucial roles and we are pleased to see that them build on their related work in other organisations. I hope TPT participants and collaborators will forgive me for not tagging many more names in this post - there are so many, and it is impossible to draw the line as to who to include. But to all involved in the Taskforce, the wider TPT community, the Secretariat, thank you all for your passion, support, and collaboration - and congratulations on a meaningful contribution that really made a difference.
