How can integrated care systems improve young people's mental health? Here's some insights members identified on what we'd need in order to build better, more equitable mental health services for children and young people. ⬇ 1️⃣ For youth voices to be really heard within systems, there needs to be a genuine power shift. 2️⃣ For systems and those who commission services to avoid putting young people into boxes. 3️⃣ For mental health support to change to offer all groups of young people the right help at the right time. 4️⃣ For young people to not be left waiting for mental health support for long periods without any help. 5️⃣ For systems to learn from one another.
