Dean Kamen is a BADASS in my book for bringing the first self-balancing local vehicle to market, the first ever consumer vehicle using fly-by-wire steering. Most would not have had the intelligence nor the courage to do this! 20 years ago (this Tuesday) Dean came to my GOING Conference in Boulder, and gave the best speech I'm confident he has ever given on Segway + Small Mobility. Segway was already having challenges, and you can hear it in his tone, but I LOVE THIS TALK of his. I get we are all hustling for what's around the corner, and why listen to a 20 year old talk, and most think the Segway failed.
