Today we released our annual Digital Forensics and Incident Response Year in Review Report for 2023. Short and insightful interview with David Bradbury. Notable observation: threats are shifting from pre-authentication phases to post-authentication phases. Bear in mind that the stronger focus on post-auth is fair for such organizations that embraced the best-in-class pre-auth methods, such as phishing-resistant factors. Are you there? #Okta has good solutions to enforce pre-auth protection but the companies need to focus on adoption to benefit. This course served as a fantastic refresher for me, allowing me to utilize data packet analyzers, identify network traffic patterns, and learn cybersecurity best practices.
