A good opportunity
I'm looking to add an ISP 'journeyman' to my team. I know we don't have an industry red seal (not yet?) but we lean on the term 'engineer' enough in this industry why can't we borrow from another??

There's good news for telecom start-ups. For the AT&T Project, Ericsson plans to hire contractors. For start-ups waiting on projects, this is their greatest chance yet. As everyone is aware, the AT&T Company has recently acquired 29 acquisitions across a variety of industries, including 7 in the telecom sector. An important milestone for the new technology will be reached by AT&T and Ericsson when they establish a telecom network that only uses #ORAN technology and covers 70% of all wireless traffic in the US by late 2026. Over the course of the five-year contract with Ericsson, AT&T may spend close to $14 billion, the business announced. In order to fulfil deadlines and manage workload, Ericsson is now prepared to share their work with other businesses. Operations/Roll-out Manager @ Nokia | Accomplished Operations Leader, Project Manager, Project Director, Procurement Manager | Lifelong Learner | Husband & Father
Interesting read. Seems like Ericsson will take on some expansive cost to rip and replace Nokia material in the AT&T network since AT&T is only paying for the new material not the replacement effort. What’s your thoughts ???
