What do you do when you miss an invaluable community of peers 🤔?You create one from scratch. In 🇪🇪 Estonia.
Yesterday, we had our first unofficial meetup of 🇪🇪 Software Development Companies.
My motivation? One of the biggest challenges I face while abroad in Estonia is the absence of a community for C-level executives and founders of software development companies. In 🇵🇱 Poland, we transformed a small group of enthusiasts into SoDA - Software Development Association Poland, a professional organization with 150+ members that fosters collaboration, growth, and learning among software development companies. The value of such a community can't be overstated—it creates a space for knowledge exchange, partnership opportunities, increased revenue, and shared experiences that make us all stronger.
So why not build the same in 🇪🇪 Estonia? Yesterday, we took the first step with our unofficial meetup of Software Development Companies Estonia in the form of relaxed gathering in Flavore restoran.
I’m immensely grateful for accepting the idea and great discussions with Märt Ridala from Solita Estonia, Karl Õkva Thorgate, Kaur Esnar from RingIT OÜ, Romet Rahuoja from Mooncascade, Marco Spielmann, MSc from birkle IT, and Ilja Lavrov from Wisercat.
We missed FOB Solutions and Net Group Ltd - hope to see you next time!
As Karl Õkva from Thorgate reminded us with the African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." We're not just colleagues, but partners in growth in the big market full of challenges and opportunities.
If you're interested in being part of this budding community—whether you missed this meetup or want to contribute to the next—reach out to me.
Let’s go far, together. 🚀
