Enterprise Value (EV) is a way to measure the total value of a company. It gives a more complete picture than just looking at the company's stock price, if you wanted to buy the entire company, what would it cost you? That’s the enterprise value. Here’s how you calculate it:- 🔖 Market Cap :- This is the total value of all the company’s shares of stock. You get this by multiplying the current stock price by the total number of shares. 🔖Debt:- This is the money the company owes to others (like loans and bonds). 🔖Cash and Cash Equivalents: -This is the money the company has in the bank or can quickly convert to cash. The formula for EV is- EV=Market Cap+Debt−Cash and Cash Equivalents EV gives a better sense of the true cost to acquire a company because it includes not just the stock price but also the company's debts and cash. #Finance #Investing #Stockmarket #Valuation #Linkdin

***A FLOTATION COST*** also known as the cost of issuance, refers to the expenses associated with issuing new financial securities, such as stocks or bonds, by a company. These costs may include commissions paid to investment banks, legal and accounting fees, printing and distribution expenses, among others. The flotation cost is important for companies looking to raise funds through a securities issuance, as it reduces the net amount of funds the company actually receives. For example, if a company issues R1,000,000 worth of shares and incurs R50,000 in flotation costs, the net amount the company actually receives is R950,000. Flotation costs are a crucial factor to consider when evaluating the feasibility of issuing new financial securities, as they can impact the company's cost of capital and, therefore, its profitability. Additionally, flotation costs vary depending on the type of financial security issued and the market conditions at the time of the issuance.

4imprint’s FY23 results are as outlined in January’s trading update, with 16% top-line growth and a further step up in operating margin to 10.3% from 9.0%. Given that the trading backdrop became more difficult over the final few months, as shown in industry reports, this implies that the group continues to build share in its large and fragmented addressable market for promotional products. 4imprint ended the year with net cash and short-term deposits of $105m after particularly strong cash conversion in H2. This amply allows for the expansion project at the main Oshkosh distribution centre as well as a good uplift in the final dividend, making 215 cents for the year, with the shares trading at a yield of approximately 3%. STOCK AND WORKING CAPITAL FINANCE If you are holding a fairly large amount of stock, possibly because you need time to convert it to your eventual product, there are finance companies which will help you buy the stock – or advance you money if you already have it. This works best for “big ticket” items such as vehicles or plant, but can also be applied to situations, such as retailers, where it would be advantageous to hold a fairly large amount of stock to give customers more choice. Stock and working capital finance is one of the specialist areas we can help with. Call us today to discuss your situation. #stockfinance #capitalfinance #businessfinance #commercialfinance #business #businessfinancespecialist

As an investor, What do you think dividend increases your wealth? well lets do a simple maths, Value per share in the beg: Rs 2000 EPS: Rs100 DPS: Rs20 Value per share at the end: Rs2080 So you have Rs 20 in reflected in your bank A/c and RS 2080 reflected in your demat A/c. If No dividend than, VPS beg: 2000 EPS: Rs 100 DPS: 0 Value per share at the end: 2100 😂 same 2100 is reflected in your demat. Humm if so than, why do investors prefer dividend? It shows that the company had cash generating abilities, well Financial statement also shows this, yes, they do 😎 But, distributing dividend shows that companies had real cash in hand. otherwise you know it better what it may be 😂

The downturn of major companies like Ally, despite their profitability, can be attributed to the effects of excessive money printing and lenient financing. These factors lead to weakened underwriting and increased competition, which impact the entire market, especially midsize finance companies. It is crucial for the board to concentrate on preventing managers from inflating the finances to a crisis point. The industry requires responsible management to ensure its health and sustainability.
