📢 The European Innovation Scoreboard 2024 has been published today!
Here are a few key highlights from this year's edition:
🌟 Denmark remains the most innovative EU country, with Sweden following closely behind.
📈 The European Union's innovation performance continues to rise steadily, showing a 10% increase since 2017.
🌐 Geographic differences in innovation performance persist in the EU, with Innovation Leaders and Strong Innovators mainly located in Northern and Western Europe, while many Moderate and Emerging Innovators are found in Southern and Eastern Europe.
🌍 Switzerland leads as the most innovative country among EU and neighboring European countries, while South Korea remains the top global competitor in innovation. China has now surpassed Japan and is progressively closing the gap with the EU.
