The 2024 financial year was one of growth and immense development. Not only did we welcome several new clients, but we also assisted three existing Canberra business clients sell, all for different reasons: retirement, succession and growth. •Veteninary practice sold to ASX listed company for $8m. •Government consulting business sold to local private organization for $6m. •Electrical business sold for $18m to private equity group. We are also currently assisting an environmental IT company in the process of the sale of their business (and app!) to an international organisation for ~$2m. Due diligence takes a long time and whilst it can be expensive, getting the right advice, both from an accounting/business perspective and legal perspective will save you much more in the long run.
