Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation – Abuja – #Nigeria The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation started out as Nigerian Tourist Association in 1962 before it was changed to NTDC in 1992 as a Federal Government Corporation under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and National Orientation. The Corporation is responsible for the planning, supervision, development and marketing of tourism in Nigeria. In the 2024 Travel & Tourism Development Index by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Pakistan has risen to 101st place, a notable improvement of 20 spots since 2019. The country received a score of 3.41 out of 7, reflecting a 3.6% increase over the last five years. In the 2024 Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI), Pakistan is included in the Asia-Pacific regional group. This region ranked as the second-highest performer, with 10 out of its 19 economies surpassing the index average and 11 economies demonstrating score improvements since 2019. The Middle East saw the most significant rebound in international tourist arrivals, surpassing 2019 levels by 20%. Europe, Africa, and the Americas also showed robust recoveries, reaching approximately 90% of their pre-pandemic levels by 2023.
