Link in the comments below. In Scandinavia, consolidation created some of Europe’s leading market players, despite a relatively small home market. Zetadisplay, Vertiseit, and Visual Art – all based in Sweden – dominate the region through various acquisitions.   The largest digital signage customers are the main supermarket chains, which started digitalizing their stores long before the competitors in the rest of the continent.   The international expansion of the Fab 3 – all with their own software platform – was also driven by following Nordic multinationals like Ikea, Volvo, or H&M abroad.   Sweden’s industry leaders cover the Scandinavian countries well but still leave potential for homegrown competition. In Finland, telco subsidiary Elisa Videra keeps the market lead. In Denmark, the relevant digital signage players are LCD Media and Combine; and in Norway, it is Databeat and Scala. Above all of them shines the IT-giant ATEA who is nowhere near as competent as the digital signage pure players but is optimally connected to all relevant end-customers.   Current up-and-coming start-ups are Valotalive in Finland, Impressbox in Latvia, and the Spotify spin-off Soundtrack Your Brand.
