Invisible Connections Ltd’s Post

Salford Central is a regeneration masterplan transforming 50 acres into a vibrant mixed-use destination. In the commercial centre, we’re proud to have supplied RVK Precast Concrete Stair Landing Connectors and REDiBOX recess formers to three (of the six) landmark office towers; Three, Four and Eden, New Bailey. For more: https://bit.ly/41m2DCP At Three, standard RVK connectors were cast into landings by Barcon Systems Ltd for OBR Construction Group, working for Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd. At Four, pinned RVK connectors were specified by Cundall and cast into landings by Lynx Precast Limited for Hampsey Ltd. Similarly at Eden, where pinned RVK connectors were cast into landings by O'Reilly Precast Ltd for OBR for both the Feature and Fire stairs. Standard or Pinned? •   Standard telescopic connectors are appropriate where stairs and landings can be supported on two adjacent perpendicular core walls. •   Pinned connectors anchor the precast element to the core wall, where landings can only be connected on two ends. Both connection methods satisfy PD6687-1 requirements. With appropriate positioning of standard or pinned telescopic connectors, anchorage is inherent. Robustness requirements are met without the need for additional materials or labour - and associated costs. As a result, engineering design is satisfied, task complexity is simplified, and programme efficiencies enabled. Speed. Safety. Strength. #BuildingConstruction #MMC #Construction #ConstructionIndustry #UKConstruction #TelescopicConnectors #Precast #Concrete #Offsite #ModernMethodsOfConstruction #Architect #StructuralEngineer #MainContractor #FrameContractor #Precaster #ConnectWithUs
