🌅 Morning Wisdom: What We Eat Skipping breakfast, grabbing fast food on the go, or having popcorn for dinner—what does that say about how we are treating ourselves? Think about those days when work is hectic, and we barely find time to eat. Instead of taking a moment for a proper meal, we reach for whatever’s quick, often neglecting how it makes us feel afterward. We have all had those “comfort food” moments, but if we make it a habit, what are we really telling ourselves? What and how we eat says a lot about how much we value ourselves. It’s not just about the food, but the act of nourishing and respecting our bodies. Changing what we eat—and how we enjoy it—can shift how we feel about ourselves. Let's make the commitment to respect our body by choosing food that nourishes and delights us. 🍎🥗 As Anthelme Brillat-Savarin said, "Tell me what you eat and I will tell you who you are." So, what you are eating today? #HealthyHabits #MindfulEating

🍴 Mindful mealtimes... 🍴 Each meal of the day can be an opportunity for you to pause. When you give full attention to eating, you slow down and appreciate your food more. 🍴 Eat at the table, sit down and come away from the TV, phone and other distractions. 🍴 Notice ~ look at the food and really appreciate it. Consider all the people involved in getting it to your plate, farmers, those who harvested it, transported it and prepared it. 🍴 Take what you need, it is in-built to want to finish everything on the plate, perhaps take a smaller portion. 🍴 Give full attention to each mouthful, look at the colours, savour the flavours. 🍴 Slow down ~ put the fork down between mouthfuls to give a natural pause. 🍴 Try to commit to having a single mindful meal a week, breakfast gets the day off to a peaceful start. Let me know how it goes! #mindfuleating #gratitude #pause
