Gather AI, a company specializing in warehouse inventory monitoring with computer vision and AI, announced a Series A-1 funding of $17M led by Bain Capital Ventures. The company uses autonomous drones with AI software to monitor inventories, offering richer data than that obtained with traditional barcodes. Gather AI claims that its customers see a 3-5x return on investment, driven by a 66% reduction in errors in the warehouse inventory database.
