Sometimes you just have to dive into the details! 🕵️♂️ Sharing safety-relevant information between different systems can be challenging, especially when it comes to sharing data across different manufacturers. That's why the TwinSAFE EL6910 offers both Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) and PROFIsafe over PROFINET. 🔒🔌 I created this configuration as a Proof of Concept (POC) for a customer. Here's the rundown: The top CX5130 and EL6910 have their own FSoE network of devices. They also function as a PN/PROFIsafe device for two other controllers - a S7-1212FC and the lower CX/EL6910 combination. The S7-1212FC functions as a PN/PROFIsafe controller for both Beckhoff CX/EL6910 combinations. Finally, the bottom CX5140 and EL6910 functions as both a PN/PROFIsafe controller with the EL6631 and a device with the second onboard NIC. 🤖👨💻🔄 Thank you, Nicholas Higgins for all the help!
