In light of today's #Crowdstrike issue, we want to reassure our clients that ENTRILIA remains unaffected. ✅ Our systems do not use the CrowdStrike Falcon agent, and we don’t manage any virtual machines. Additionally, about half of our internal users operate on Mac 💻, further mitigating any potential impact. While we leverage Microsoft Azure PaaS, which might involve virtual machines managed by Microsoft and could technically experience disruptions, these disruptions were likely due to Microsoft's swift cybersecurity actions. We will know more soon. Today’s incident might spark discussions about returning to on-premise infrastructure, but we firmly believe the cloud era is here to stay ☁️. On-premise solutions will always be costly, impractical, and much slower for innovation. Competing for the best infrastructure engineers with big tech firms would always be challenging. Cloud-based solutions will continue to evolve much faster and have stronger recoveries, with big tech continually advancing their technologies. While occasional disruptions might occur, rest assured that big tech will resolve them swiftly. 🔧 Your IT team just needs to ensure measures are in place to handle any temporary downtime effectively. Last weekend, I had the honor of conducting a demo session at the Azure and AI Show, where I demonstrated how to create and manage objects both on-premise and in the cloud (Microsoft 365 and Entra Admin Center).
