People who are anxious in their relationships are often talked about as having "attachment issues", but did you know there is another presenting issue that can cause feelings of insecurity, fear, and what traditionally is called "attachment insecurity"? It's called relationship OCD (ROCD) and it's something any therapist working with couples, relationships, and attachments should be able to screen for as traditional therapies for relationships and attachment issues can actually exacerbate this presentation. Hope you enjoy the read!

One of the best experiences of my life was participating in the TRB conference, which was a good opportunity to connect with fellow researchers in similar research fields. I learned a lot and received good advices. In the TRB conference 2024, we presented poster of our paper entitled 'Predictive Analytics for Road Traffic Accidents: Exploring Severity through Conformal Prediction'. I would like to thank my colleagues Mohamed Eldafrawi, Ken Koshy Varghese, and Marzieh Afsari for their efforts and support in writing the joint paper, without them this would not have been possible🌻 Hoping to participate in the next TRB conference 😊🤞 #trb #roadsafety #roadaccident

It's a great day to check out The Beacon! 💡My favorite publication for all things learning, assessment, and accreditation related. You can even search through the archives to find an article written by me, though these recent articles are even better! #highereducation #closingequitygaps #accreditation https://lnkd.in/gTMpcUY4

The latest issue of NWCCU's newsletter, The Beacon, Volume 7, Issue 1, was published today. It is focused on #studentlearningoutcomes and #assessment. The issue has several articles by three of our member institutions, Shoreline Community College, College of Southern Nevada, College of Southern Idaho about their experiences developing and deploying learning outcomes and assessment. In my article, Student Learning Outcomes and Assessment-Based Education, I also have provided #GPT4's response to my query about learning outcomes and assessment. I must say, it is impressive. Look forward to your comments and feedback. #accreditation #highered #closingequitygaps #studentsuccess #standards https://lnkd.in/ggPwPPeA

Excellent source of news and analysis by David Lloyd Owen and Verity Mitchell on the water sector in England & Wales, hot on the heels of listening to David’s thoughts on the industry yesterday during the The Worshipful Company of Water Conservators webinar. There are rarely simple answers, but knowledge and understanding of both the history and current situation is a good starting point for better decisions in the future, not least when it comes to the links between financing and engineering, which not enough of us (myself included) fully grasp, and which David definitely does!
