It's a Wrap! The "2024 ANU Migration Update: Countering Myths and Delivering Facts" was a resounding success, bringing together a stellar lineup of world-leading migration experts from across the Pacific and international humanitarian organizations. We were privileged to have the Ministerial Address delivered by Hon. Matt Thistlethwaite MP, Assistant Minister for Immigration, along with keynote addresses from Professor Rebekah Brown, Provost and Senior Vice-President of The Australian National University, and Dr. Marie McAuliffe, Head of Migration Research at the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The event's highlights included in-depth discussions on global trends, data innovations, and the ongoing debate over emerging challenges. Our experts engaged in meaningful deliberations on how to effectively counter myths, deliver facts, and enhance the migration discourse.
