Claudia Keppke becomes Head of Business Development at Midstad. Midstad strengthens its team with Claudia Keppke. She comes from CBRE, where she headed the #propertymanagement team in Frankfurt. The full-service real estate service provider Midstad has appointed Claudia Keppke as Head of Business Development. From the Frankfurt location, the 39-year-old will drive the further development of asset and property management and intensify cooperation with institutional real estate owners and family offices. Keppke has many years of experience in the #realestate industry. Most recently, she worked as Team Leader Asset Services at CBRE, where she headed the property management team in Frankfurt with 25 employees since January 2023. British Land and GIC's Broadgate REIT have teamed up with Modon from Abu Dhabi to develop a new office space at 2 Finsbury Avenue in London. The project will feature two high-rise towers and a 12-storey podium, covering a total of 750,000 square feet, and is expected to be completed by 2027. Ownership will be split, with British Land and GIC each holding 25%, and Modon owning the remaining share.

Indonesian-backed investment manager, Oceania Capital Group has purchased 66 St Georges Terrace Perth for $75 million. The A-grade building boasts 11,253 sqm of office space with a strong tenant register. “The sale of 66 St George’s Terrace for $75 million, marks the largest CBD office transaction in two years. Capital Markets at JLL, on behalf of Mirvac, is delighted to announce the successful transaction of a 50% interest in 255 George Street, Sydney for $363.8 million to Keppel REIT. This represents the largest office commercial real estate transaction in Australia YTD.   255 George Street is 29 storey A-Grade office tower, with a high-quality tenant profile including the Commonwealth of Australia (ATO), Bank of Queensland and BUPA. The asset was largely occupied at the time of sale with a WALE (by income) of 6.4yrs and had undergone ~$50 million in recent capital expenditure upgrades.   This milestone transaction demonstrates that, despite the prevailing global office market headwinds, investors are recognising that Australia’s office market is highly resilient and decoupled from the North American experience.   We would like to congratulate both parties on the successful transaction, strengthening their existing partnership. CMV Group acquires strategic Merrifield Business Park site for future expansion - CBRE A strategic 4.57ha landholding at Innovation Drive Mickleham sold by CBRE’s Daniel Eramo and Joe Brzezek to CMV Group. CMV Group Joint Managing Director, Daniel Crawford said the location’s high exposure and excellent connectivity were key considerations in CMV Group's decision to invest in the prime site. CBRE’s Daniel Eramo noted, “CMV Group’s future development will create the ultimate interface along Donnybrook Road into MAB’s large format industrial business park.
