Every time I hear someone say "Email marketing is dead" or "It doesn't work anymore," I just smile because of this statistic: According to Statista In 2020, the global email marketing market was valued at 7.5 billion U.S. dollars. And it's projected to reach 17.9 billion by 2027. The key is using email marketing the right way. It's crucial to start strong because initial mistakes can harm your sender reputation. You are being lied to. SPF, DKIM and DMARC are not the be all and end all’s of email deliverability. Those are minimum requirements. We don’t work with „minimum“. 1/3 Are you real? Did you do ANY research on our company? Surface-level means basic research. What industry are they in? Which town? What are they roughly doing? Who are you speaking to? CEO? Head of Marketing? No-one needs you to tell them that they went to Yale and graduated in 2008. 2/3 Make it about the prospect. Generally speaking, no-one cares about you, your company or how good you are. Can you help your prospect? Good. Show them how. 3/3 Most people think they have an offer. But in reality they only have a company description. 'We do email marketing with Klaviyo and increased AOV by 40% with our emails for another e-com brand.' This isn’t an offer. ’We can help you do the same and you only pay us per percentage increase. We guarantee to increase it by 20% this month or you don’t pay until we do.‘ Easy test if your offer is clear enough: Imagine a billboard showcasing ONLY your offer.
