Moments that matter: Recently, I overheard two Novartis associates discussing our legacy while admiring the history wall - especially our humble beginnings as a pharma company in the early 1900s. We've come a long way, and it's heartening to see that legacy still holds value. Despite the excitement of our future as a focused medicines company, I often find even Baby Boomers and Gen Yers grabbing moments like these to pause and reflect after a hearty meal at the cafeteria. Every company should have a history wall or a dedicated history zone. Historic symbols like the #stagecoach or the #GreenDot (I won't reveal the company names. Reply if you know) become embedded in an organization's thinking, serving as bywords for initiatives and providing a foundation for visual identity. Legacy is not a bad thing. However, getting stuck there is a watch out. PS: If you were expecting an inclusion post, you haven't quite figured out my craft. 🌍 Network Meeting at Coloplast in Humlebæk 🌍 Today, I had an inspiring network meeting at Coloplast in Humlebæk, where we discussed different topics such as CSRD, product carbon footprint, sustainability data governance, the Green Claims Directive, and biodiversity. 🌱 It was nice to see participation from various companies of different sizes and industries, all coming together to discuss these issues. Despite our diverse backgrounds, we found common ground in the challenges we face, particularly in ensuring data quality and handling the implications of improved data accuracy. Key takeaways included: 👉 Ensuring Data Quality: Strategies and best practices for maintaining high standards. 👉 Handling Better Data: Navigating the complexities when new data leads to unexpected results. 👉 Collaborative Solutions: Sharing insights and approaches across industries.
