Week 1/ Week 12 My Journey towards becoming a Global Digital Marketer all thanks to DigifyNG Yesterday, I had the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in understanding how brands and individuals trend online. Together with Seyi omotunde,Gracious M. Ezirim, CDMP, CDTP and the rest of my 150 colleagues from Cohort 4.0. We conducted an experiment that centred around the hashtags #DigifyNG and #Digifypro. One profound takeaway from this experience was the realization that "There's power in numbers." This was evident as we strategically pushed these hashtags to trend on the 5th and 6th positions in Nigeria. Breakthrough ACTION - Nigeria influenced a wide range of health behaviors through a coordinated package of community-based, mass media, and digital approaches. Each approach focused on the same priority audiences, behaviors, and core messages. As a communication channel, mass media is critical as it is an extremely powerful tool to reach more individuals than those reached through community-based activities and reinforce messages at the community level. Throughout the life of the project, Breakthrough ACTION-Nigeria’s dedicated in-house media team led by #JustinDeNormandie , Eze Eze Ogali , Fatima Gidado , Justina Ojumu , Idi Nasiru , #AminaKato , Henry Okowuru and most especially, Abimbola Bello, CM developed a systematic strategy for working with and through media. The #KnowledgeManagement team collaborated with the media team to put together this learning brief titled “Media Buying for Impactful Social and Behavior Change Programming”..
