🌍 Access to CAR T therapies varies significantly across countries, with Ireland having the longest average time to availability at 1,212 days, while Spain leads with the shortest at just 222 days. Spain’s national plan, approved in 2018, has likely contributed to faster access to these life-saving treatments, although reimbursement is still limited compared to the broader label population. Interestingly, CAR Ts are available 48 (Italy) to 405 (Australia) days faster than traditional hematology cancer drugs on average—except in Ireland and Greece, where wait times remain longer.
