What are the challenges in moving nuclear medicine innovation forward? As 2024 Henkin Fellow Joseph Steiner saw, a lack of awareness was one of the main obstacles for lawmakers and regulators in advancing nuclear medicine policy. As a Henkin Fellow, Steiner and others learned to navigate Capitol Hill, met with key regulatory bodies, and participated in SNMMI governance meetings to learn first-hand how to become messengers for their field and even more importantly, nuclear medicine patients.
