In breweries, hoses play a crucial role. Castle Brewery Vanhonsebrouck, renowned for its distinctive specialty beers, encountered an issue with their hoses. They would kink immediately after the coupling due to a sharp 90-degree bend, increasing the likelihood of tearing. Additionally, the hoses were fitted with clamp shells, which are more susceptible to bacterial formation. 💡 ERIKS recommended using beer hoses equipped with pressed couplings. This enhances the hygiene of the connections, and the inclusion of an anti-kink spiral prevents any kinking, thus extending the lifespan of the hoses. As a result, the brewery experienced improved production uptime. The enhanced durability of the hoses also lowered the total cost of ownership (TCO), and the improved quality of the hose assembly significantly reduced the risk of contamination. Typical applications include tanks and containers for a variety of liquids and solids: The food industry Food processing equipment, especially beer brewing, milk processing and brewing equipment. For example, it is well suited for use in dairy equipment such as milking machines, containers, homogenizers, sterilizers, and storage and transportation tanks including pipes, valves, milk carts, and trams. It is very common in the brewing industry and can be used in pipes, yeast POTS, fermentation barrels, storage and railway vehicles. The citrus and juice industry also USES Type Inox 304 Ss cold rolled stainless steel sheet for all of its treatment, crushing, preparation, storage and traction equipment. Class 1.4034 is martensitic stainless steel. 1.4034 Resistant to moderately aggressive environments and can be hardened. It is commonly used in the food (processing) industry for cutting tools.
