This is not the official portal. You will need to apply at SARH.org. Go to the career section, select "allied health" and then "radiology"
For all my international connections:
I am unable to accept any other national license except the ones listed in my post above.
While I support the international radiology community, I still have American licensing requirements to follow.
I love the diversity that an international employee would bring. However, I need ARRT licenses and since I am located in California, the California permits are also needed.
For international candidates, I also need a "right to work" permit/visa. Also known as a green card.
It is illegal for me to employee an international employee, as a radiographer, without these documents.
Also, one credential does not transfer to a different modality. I have listed exactly what is needed for each role.
Good luck on your search. IF you obtain the required minimum qualifications for the role, I'll gladly review the application and potential interview you.
We need you!! 🌟🌟👇👇👇

If this is the video for laypersons on medical gaslighting, why isn’t there one directed towards medical professionals on how to better communicate with patients in the first place? One of the other courses I teach at our medical school covers these communication skills, including active listening skills, display of empathy, challenging bedside situations, and how to deliver bad news. It requires a combination of small group discussions, role play, and a lot of simulation using professional actors. It is not a set of skills that can be effectively taught via remote, asynchronous video (i.e. YouTube).
A discussion of medical gaslighting: What it is, what patients can do to prevent or to respond to it, and what many people get very wrong about it.
0:12 My qualifications to discuss this topic
1:40 5 signs of medical gaslighting
11:13 Why I say that medical gaslighting is "sort of" very real
14:40 How patients can prevent gaslighting from happening
17:02 How patients should respond to gaslighting once it's happened
After watching the video myself, I discovered a few likely questions/comments that I can preemptively address:
1. Although mentioned early in the video, I want to emphasize that the advice I’m giving here is based on how the healthcare system actually works, not how it should work.
2. In reference to the two cases I’ve observed in which a medical professional deliberately lied to their patient, yes I discussed the situation directly with the patients and their families, and I referred the incident up the respective chains of command. (Neither incident involved a coworker at my current institution.)
3. It is not a set of skills that can be effectively taught via remote, asynchronous video (i.e. YouTube).
4. I should have discussed the impact from the generalized loss of empathy that healthcare workers – particularly hospital-based healthcare workers – have experienced due to the COVID pandemic.
Investing in EKG technician classes is a smart move with long-term benefits. In today's healthcare landscape, EKG technicians play a crucial role in diagnosing heart conditions, making them highly sought-after professionals.

1. Pacing from the atrium at 400ms with an extra stimulus at 240ms. S1 conducts from the atrium through the His to the ventricle in a normal fashion (normal AH and HV intervals).
2. S2 blocks antegrade in the fast pathway (the short AH) and conducts down the slow pathway (the long AH) and back up the fast pathway. This cycle continuously repeats itself down the slow and up the fast resulting in an AVNRT.

For this week's MTM we are looking into an essential medical device that saves lives – the defibrillator. It’s a life-saving device that delivers an electric shock to the heart, helping to restore a normal rhythm during a cardiac emergency.
There are various types of defibrillators, including AEDs commonly found in public places, and advanced units used in hospitals. Understanding how these devices work can be crucial during emergencies.
At Voyce, our mission is to help patients from all linguistic backgrounds understand their care. This includes comprehending the significance and usage of medical devices like defibrillators. Clear communication is critical in emergencies.
