The Solidarity Code - my recent TEDx talk... How can we solve the collective action problems that plague human society? Making cooperation work is hard, whether in the smallest of groups, or in the biggest team of all – humanity. The answer is solidarity. Solidarity is the golden thread that can stitch together the cooperation we need to thrive as people and planet in the 21st-century. Hassan Damluji, Co-founder of think-tank Global Nation and the author of The Responsible Globalist (Penguin, 2021), talks about the findings of the first Global Solidarity Report, which he and his team released recently at the UN. He shows how the three drivers of global solidarity – identities, institutions and impacts – work in mutually reinforcing cycle.
