𝐈𝐓 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐎 Selling is a team sport is a phrase we have heard of, my edit to this is Selling is for the most part a partnership of two where an Individual Seller is in front of the customer with his/her Pre-Sales or Solution Engineers trying to progress the sales opportunity through the different stages of the sales cycle. We have heard of in sports some of the great bowlers in cricket who would hunt in pairs, with one keeping things tight at one end creating pressure at the other end for his partner bowler to strike. Some of the great batsmen would also form legendary partnerships to bring out the best in each other and propel their team into winning positions. In many ways it is about striking the right partnership like a Bopanna-Ebden World No 1 Men's tennis doubles team to create that magic with and for the customer. And outside of sport in singing for example the famous duets complement each other and bring out the best in each other for a legendary music duet composition and rendition and same goes for dancing so to speak.
