Today in America a form of history is made. The world is watching, not just the United States of America. After the deliberation and a decision is made, the world will move accordingly in future decisions when it comes to the United States of America.

“To save America the first imperative is to remove from power the ideologues of both parties who have nearly killed our country. In his final chapter, Buchanan lays out ideas to prevent the end of America. He calls for a bottom-up review of all of America’s Cold War commitments, a ten-point program to secure America’s borders, ideas to halt the erosion of our national sovereignty and restore our manufacturing preeminence and economic independence, and a formula for finding the way to a cold peace in the culture wars. Buchanan offers a radical but necessary program, for neither party is addressing the real crisis of America -- whether we survive as one nation and people, or disintegrate into what Theodore Roosevelt called a “tangle of squabbling nationalities” and not a nation at all. IN THIS EYE-OPENING BOOK, PAT BUCHANAN REVEALS THE PERILOUS PATH OUR NATION HAS TAKEN:”

America’s highest idea and greatest accomplishments have arisen from the spirit of innovation, cooperation, co-existence, and constant evolution. On July 4, 1776, a group of revolutionaries, imperfect men, fallible man, but visionary men, started this country out on a journey from an imperfect union to, as was later written in the U.S. Constitution, “a more perfect union.” As all co-founders, co-workers, and joint venturers can attest: any effort to build something that did not previously exist, that involves the efforts of more than one person to build, it will involve ups and downs, struggles, setbacks, strife, dissent, conflict- but also triumphs, innovations, unity, and success if there is also perseverance. Building America has been no different. Over 248 later, Americans have persevered. Americans have moved together toward that more perfect union that is a primary founding purpose of this American effort. All of us have played a role in moving this country forward towards it. We are all responsible for continuing to hone our country to perfection. This is what we celebrate on July 4th. The efforts of the founding fathers. But also, the trials, tribulations, successes, perseverance, and contributions of our ancestors in getting this nation to its point today, closer still to that more perfect union.

As Americans, we find ourselves at a critical juncture – presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity to unite as a people, to transcend the bitterness and divisiveness we have recently experienced and to rise up as one – united, strong and confident in the bright future that lies ahead. As I have often said, there is far more that unites us – than divides us. We believe in freedom, equality and justice for all. We hold dear the sanctity of the individual. We love our families and communities. In short, we believe that each and every individual should have the opportunity to achieve the American Dream – to be the best we can possibly be – to achieve our full potential. In fact, the entire Sunshine Initiative – and now our American Sunshine Movement – is based on this core belief. That we have abundant opportunity, that what we can achieve has no bounds – and we are limited only by our ability to believe. Believing that positive energy, inspires positive change, resulting in positive results. Looking towards the future with optimism and a united front opens the door to endless possibilities and opportunities for growth. By focusing on common goals and shared aspirations, we as Americans can work together to tackle pressing challenges and lead the way in creating a brighter, more prosperous future for generations to come. As individuals set aside differences and come together for the greater good, the potential for positive change becomes limitless. So, especially given the events of the past several years and even the past week, let’s commit ourselves to a united, positive path ahead. And let’s be inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson – that as Americans, we believe that each and every one of us should have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. In short, to achieve the American Dream!

No, America Is Not ‘Ugly and Decayed’. On the menu today: A stray question on America’s alleged decline into decay spurs a useful examination of why U.S. infrastructure projects are slow, expensive, and often delayed; what America is building, what we’re innovating, what we’re doing faster than anyone else on Earth, and why our cultural, political, and social-media environment so often wants us to believe the worst about each other; and today is the day to pay tribute to America’s less-remembered presidents. https://lnkd.in/dASSkrJR
