The Downside of Relief: Understanding Inversion Table Negative Side Effects Inversion tables have been touted as a revolutionary solution for back pain relief, offering an alternative to traditional treatment methods. These tables aim to alleviate spinal pressure, improve circulation, and enhance flexibility by inverting the body. However, the question arises: What are the potential inversion table negative side effects? This article delves into the risks associated with inversion therapy, highlighting the importance of considering safer alternatives. Read more : https://lnkd.in/gTUByrHr

PAIN GATE THEORY The Gate Control Theory of Pain describes a mechanism located in the spinal cord that regulates the transmission of pain signals to the brain, potentially enhancing or diminishing the perception of pain at the spinal level. The 'gate' functions as a regulatory system that determines whether pain signals are allowed to pass through or are blocked. There are two possible states for the gate: it can be either 'open' or 'closed.' When the gate is open, pain signals are permitted to travel to the brain, resulting in the perception of pain. Conversely, when the gate is closed, these signals are prevented from ascending to the brain, thereby inhibiting the sensation of pain. In instances where an individual encounters a painful stimulus, the introduction of a non-painful stimulus, such as gentle rubbing, can activate the gate control mechanism and alleviate the pain. #RaiseAgainstAutism #PinnacleSaysItAll #PinnacleBloomsNetwork #1AutismTherapyCentresNetwork

Effects of High-Intensity Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy Treatment High-intensity pulsed electromagnetic field treatment has shown benefits for recovery, regeneration and healing various disorders in bones, cartilages and muscles, and also increases the levels of ATP in the body allowing the body to naturally heal itself. Additionally, PEMF is non-invasive, non-thermal, safe and easy to apply. Read this article to learn what high-intensity PEMF means and explore the clinical studies to learn about the effects and benefits of high-intensity of PEMF: https://lnkd.in/deq2rRQk #aestheticmedicine #functionalmedicine #chiropractic #physicaltherapy

The Contents of My Library Sinus bradycardia “A slow, but regular, heart rate (less than 60 beats per minute). Sinus bra-dycardia is caused by reduced electri-cal activity in the sinoatrial node (the heart's pacemaker). Unlike heart block, there is no impairment to the transmission of electrical impulses through the heart. Sinus bradycardia is normal in athletes and in people who exercise regularly; it can be achieved by relax-ation techniques.Sinus bradycardia may also be caused by hypothyroidism, a myocar-dial infarction (heart attack), or drugs such as beta-blockers or digoxin.” Page 907

Human body can survive without most of its internal organs? That's not quite true. While it's amazing how adaptable the human body is, we definitely need some vital organs to survive. These include: * Brain: Controls all bodily functions * Heart: Pumps blood throughout the body * Lungs: Take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide If any of these organs fail, it's fatal within minutes. However, we can live with one of some other organs, like a kidney or a lung. There are also some organs that aren't essential for survival, such as the appendix or the gallbladder.

ABO blood group allele frequency brain teasing problem ABO blood group system, the classification of human blood based on the inherited properties of red blood cells \(erythrocytes\) as determined by the presence or absence of the antigens A and B, which are carried on the surface of the red cells. Persons may thus have type A, type B, type O, or type AB blood. Youtube video: https://lnkd.in/dsUNHB79 \#nikolays_genetics_lessons
